A wistful little lullaby for my first-born son. I recorded it in my Brooklyn apartment one night while home alone with a bit of Infantado Tawny. I almost added some crazy trumpets (because they’re Arthur’s favorite instrument) but it sort of overwhelmed the lullaby nature of the song. Anyways, this is the first attempt at learning to use my new recording equipment, so the sound is better than Letters at Midnight. However, when I did the ‘mix-down’ the main vocal got all electronic-garbly sounding, which is supremely frustrating. And I’m not going back to fix it now. Other than that, though, this take is pretty okay for a blog-quality release.
